White-label schema and entity optimization
Help machines understand your clients.
Search engines and AI tools don’t read a website the way people do. They look for entities (a business, a person, a service, a place) and how those entities connect. Schema markup is how you state those facts in a language machines understand. Get it right and your client becomes easier to find, describe and recommend. Get it wrong, or skip it, and you leave the machines guessing. RankMeTech implements and repairs structured data for agency clients, under your brand.
What schema looks like
Facts, stated plainly, for machines.
Here’s a simplified example of the kind of JSON-LD we implement for a local service business. It tells search engines what the business is, where it operates, and what it offers.
The one ruleEvery claim in schema must match what’s visible on the page. Markup that doesn’t match is ignored at best and treated as spam at worst.

Common schema errors
What we clean up most often.
Most sites already have some structured data. The problem is usually that it’s wrong, duplicated or out of date.
| Error | What it causes | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Two plugins outputting schema | Conflicting facts about the same business | Choose one source and remove the duplicate |
| Old address or phone in markup | Machines learn the wrong details | Update markup to match the site and listings |
| Review markup without real reviews | Risk of a manual action from Google | Remove it, or mark up only genuine on-page reviews |
| Generic types | A dentist described as just “Organization” | Use the most specific type that fits |
| Missing links between entities | People, services and locations seem unrelated | Connect them with consistent IDs |
Beyond the website
Entities live off-site too.
Schema tells machines what the website claims. Search engines and AI tools also check those claims against the rest of the web. That’s why entity work doesn’t stop at the markup.
- The business described the same way on its profiles and directories
- sameAs links that point to those profiles from the schema
- Founders and experts with consistent names and roles everywhere they appear
- Services named the same way on the site, in schema and in listings
FAQ
Schema questions
In one sentenceRankMeTech implements, repairs and validates structured data and entity markup for agency clients on WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce and GoHighLevel, under the agency’s brand.
What is schema markup?
Schema markup is structured data, usually JSON-LD, that tells search engines and AI tools explicit facts about a page: the business, its services, people, products and locations.
Does schema help with AI search?
Clear, accurate structured data helps machines understand entities and relationships. That’s part of making a business easy for AI tools to describe and recommend.
Can schema hurt a site?
Yes, if it describes things that aren’t on the page, such as invented reviews or services. That’s why we check every claim against the visible content.
Which platforms do you work on?
WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce and GoHighLevel most often. If your client is on something else, ask us.
What is an entity in SEO?
An entity is a distinct thing search engines can identify, such as a business, a person, a product or a place. Entity optimization makes sure each one is described clearly and consistently.
Do you remove schema added by plugins?
When plugins or themes output duplicate or conflicting schema, we choose one clean source and remove or disable the rest, so the page states one set of facts.
How do you check schema is working?
We test every template with Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator, confirm the markup matches visible content, and watch Search Console for errors after release.
Which schema types do you use most?
LocalBusiness subtypes, Organization, Service, Person, Product, Offer, FAQPage, Article and BreadcrumbList, chosen to match each client’s business and pages.
